Basic Verb Tenses


Simple Verb Tense:

present tense: +as, mi parolas/ i speak /

past tense: +is, ni parolis/ we spoke /

future tense: +os, oni parolos/ they will speak/

Perfect Verb Tense:

present tense: +intas, mi kaptintas/ i have caught /

past tense: +intis, mi kaptintis/ i had caught/

future tense: +intos, mi kaptintos/ i will have caught/

Numbers

Example: 11 - dek unu, 21- dudek unu, 200 - ducent, 1968 - mil naŭcent sesdek ok

Ordinal: +a , first, second...- Unua, dua...

Adverb: +e, firstly, secondly...- Unue, due...

Multiple: +obl+a, Double, triple - Duobla, triobla

Fraction: +on+o, Half, Quarter - Duono, Kvarono

Group: +op+o, Duo, trio - duopo, triopo

Questions

//To make yes/ no questions, put 'ĉu' at beginning of a sentence !/

example: ĉu li mangas? - Is he eating?

Jes, li mangas - Yes , he's eating.

Ne, li trinkas - No, he's drinking.


Negation

//To make negative sentence, insert the word 'ne' in a sentence just like in the example!/

example: Mi ne kansas - I am not singing.

Ne mi kansas - it is not me singing.
